After a friend and I hiked at Runyon Canyon, we went to Coral Tree Cafe for breakfast/brunch! It’s a cute and spacious cafe with a lot of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also serve organic coffees and teas, special juices, and baked goods. Coral Tree Cafe has two other locations in Brentwood and Century City. The food here is on par with La Grande Orange Cafe and Urth Cafe.
Stuffed french toast for $10.95- Sliced brioche bread dipped in vanilla batter filled with strawberry preserves and cream cheese, topped with fresh strawberries and dusted with powdered sugar. The french toast is a house-made batter and is served with pure organic maple syrup. The bread is so soft and isn’t too sweet.
Eggs Benedict for $11.95- Two organic poached eggs over a house-made turkey sausage patty on a toasted English muffin, topped with house-made Hollandaise sauce and served with café potatoes (or organic baby field greens). I usually get scrambles or omelettes when I go out for breakfast, but I decided to order something different this time. This was so delicious, and the potatoes were seasoned well and cooked thoroughly.
