One of my high school friends was back in town visiting from New York, and she wanted to eat somewhere healthy and inexpensive. I thought Liang’s Village Cuisine would be a good choice since it’s also close to where we live! I had told her that it used to be a Japanese restaurant, but when we walked in, it looked and felt like a Japanese restaurant. Unbeknownst to us, Liang’s Village Cuisine had closed two weeks earlier and is now Opus Sushi, a fancy Japanese restaurant. We weren’t expecting to spend $15+ on dinner, but it felt rude to get up and leave after we had already talked to the waiter about the restaurant change and asked about what he recommended. The food was good, but I wasn’t full afterwards. I miss Liang’s Village Cuisine!
Yellowtail collar! I never had fish collar before, but this meat is very tender! Each entree comes with salad, rice, miso soup, and some daikon radish sauce!
