Indochine Vien is a cozy restaurant located in the Atwater Village area of Los Angeles! A small group of us came here for lunch after church one day. I really liked the food and desserts here, and I would come here again! I ordered the Bun Tom Thit Nuong for $8.50. It’s vermicelli rice noodles with strips of grilled marinated chicken breast and grilled marinated shrimp. The vermicelli had a chewier texture from the vermicelli typically served at Vietnamese restaurants. We also got to try two of the desserts- crispy Vietnamese apple fritters and crispy Vietnamese banana fritters, both with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! The apple fritters were drizzled with honey, and the banana fritters had chocolate sauce. They were prepared fresh and warm, and they were a satisfying way to complete the meal.
