This was my second time eating at Dog Haus! Before heading out to Old Town Pasadena for a hangout, my friend wanted to go somewhere to eat that was cheap, so I suggested Dog Haus! It’s located on the corner of Hill and Union, and it’s just a fun place to eat. The burgers, hot dogs, and sausages are served on Hawaiian bread, and there is a topping/sauce bar so you can add your favorite sauces and flavors to your meal. Dog Haus also plays a good variety of 80s/90s music!
Lightly salted French fries!
Sooo Cali Dog for $5.95- A hot dog with mixed greens, diced tomatoes, tempura fried onions, spicy basil aioli, and avocado!
The Little Mule for $6.50- A 1/3 lb. Angus beef patty with a fried egg, pepper jack, haus tomatillo sauce, cilantro aioli, and avocado! I ordered the burger without the pepper jack. I don’t remember this burger being spicy at all even though it had tomatillo sauce. I thought the fried egg would be well done, and I was disappointed that it was runny. However, it ended up being delicious! The moisture from the egg added to the juiciness of the burger, and the Hawaiian bread added a sweetness to the overall flavor.
