My boyfriend loves this place! We stopped by for a quick dinner before heading down to Disneyland. Bruxie is a newly-opened food stand in Old Towne Orange on Glassell Street by Chapman University! The parking lot only holds about 5 cars, so you’ll most likely have to park on the street, and only outdoor seating is available on the side. Bruxie serves both sweet and savory waffle sandwiches along with waffle fries, sodas, shakes, floats, sundaes, and frozen custard! The waffle is light, crisp, yeasty, and isn’t sweet. There are also a variety of weekly specials to choose from! The sodas are old-fashioned and are made with pure cane sugar. This place is really popular, and there’s usually a long line. The tuna bruxie and pastrami bruxie are weekly specials, but sandwiches like buttermilk fried chicken, bacon with egg and cheddar, prosciutto with gruyere, smoked salmon with dill cream cheese, and roasted mushroom with goat cheese are always available. The sweet sandwiches include nutella and brownie, seasonal creme brulee, s’mores, pb and j, and lemon cream and berries! Each sandwich ranges from $4.95 to $7.95. They don’t look very big, but they’re actually really filling. It takes a few minutes for the food to set in your stomach.
