Village California Bistro is one of the dining destinations at Santana Row in San Jose! Before heading down to Gilroy for the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival, we had a nice breakfast at this bistro!
Spinach, broccoli, and bell pepper scramble- This scramble is made with 3 farm-fresh eggs, your choice of 3 ingredients, herb roasted potatoes, and a fresh buttermilk biscuit for $11.50!
Dungeness Crab Eggs Benedict- Two dungeness crab cakes, basil hollandaise, sweet cherry tomatoes, and herb roasted potatoes for $17.
Divorced Eggs- Two eggs baked with roasted tomato and tomatillo sauces, house-made chorizo, heirloom pepper piperade and summer squashes served with fresh tortillas for $12.50.
Eggs Bruschetta for $12.50- I ordered this dish by recommendation from our waiter! It’s very light and comes with 2 fried eggs on grilled artisan bread, applewood smoked bacon, balsamic vinaigrette, and tomato avocado relish. I didn’t expect the yolk inside the fried eggs to be runny, so I didn’t enjoy the eggs that much. It tasted great overall.
