Mikey and Joanna’s Tonkatsu

Our Summer Impact Japan ’06 team had a reunion at Mikey and Joanna’s place!  Mikey and Joanna cooked a delicious Japanese lunch of tonkatsu, salad, miso soup, and rice!  It felt like we were having a meal together in Japan once again.  I really appreciate their efforts in cooking for us and their attention to details like crispy green onions and tofu in the miso soup, tonkatsu sauce, dressing and finely shredded cabbage for the salad, and black sesame seeds on the rice!
