Felix Continental Café in Orange, CA

When I first heard the name of this café, I thought it was going to be American food.  This is actually a Cuban place in downtown Orange right off of the roundabout!  We sat outside on the sidewalk in front of the café, so it was nice to have a delicious dinner amidst the busyness of the area.  They serve an extensive menu of traditional Cuban dishes and specialties.  Each order of an entrée includes bread, soup or salad, and a dessert!  It’s a lot of food for about $12-15.  I was completely stuffed after eating here.  The food is good, and it can easily feed you for two meals.

Arroz con Pollo for $11.95- A combination of chicken and saffron rice and served with maduros.

Caribbean Delight for $14.95- Shrimp, calamari, scallops, crawfish, and halibut in a typical Cuban sauce and served with rice and maduros.

Carne Con Papas for $11.95- Tips of boneless beef and potatoes cooked in a Cuban style beef sauce.

Halibut Caribbean Style for $13.95- A filet of halibut marinated and grilled, garnished with lobsters and Caribbean sauce. Served with Spanish rice, creamy spinach and maduros.

Roasted Chicken Cubano for $11.95- Half a roasted chicken basted with garlic, lemon and herbs

Tres Leches Cake- This cake oozes with milk!

Bread Pudding (with pineapple, raisins and rum sauce)!  This is served warm.
