Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes

I wanted to bring a dessert for a Bible Study, but I didn’t have a lot of time to make anything fancy.  Strawberry shortcake cupcakes are really easy and quick to make, and they look pretty too!

Ingredients:

1 box of yellow cake mix
1 tub of Cool Whip lite, thawed
1 small container of fresh strawberries

Directions:

1. Bake the yellow cake mix according to the box directions.
2. When the cake has finished cooling, spread one spoonful of Cool Whip on the cupcake.
3. Wash the strawberries, slice the berry but keep the stem intact, and place on the Cool Whip topping.
