Langer’s Deli in Los Angeles, CA

Langer’s is easily accessible by the Metro red line!  Just exit at MacArthur/Westlake, turn left, and cross the street!  It’s on the corner of Alvarado and 7th St.  The food is overpriced, but it’s good.  I really like the ambience of the restaurant.  It has a cozy deli/diner feel, and the seats in the booths are really comfortable.  It’s a popular lunch spot for the downtown LA workforce.  The majority of Langer’s customers (at least on the weekdays) are middle-aged Caucasians, but the people outside the restaurant on the street and in the stores are not.

Pastrami Sandwich with Cole Slaw and Russian Style Dressing for $13.70.  The pastrami sandwich was so good!  I was expecting the thinly-sliced pastrami, but this pastrami is like corned beef slices.  The bread was soft, and there was a good balance between the cole slaw and the pastrami.

French Fries for $3.75.  Crinkle cut and served hot!
