Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que in Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Lucille’s was a good place to stop for lunch on the way back to Los Angeles after a church retreat in Riverside.  They had plenty of outdoor seating for a group of 20.

Strawberry Lemonade!  I love how it’s served in large jars.

These warm rolls taste even better with the apple butter.

A bowl of traditional New Orleans style gumbo made with a dark roux savory broth, shrimp, smoked chicken and andouille sausage. Served with steamed white rice for $9.95.

BBQ Lunch Platter- Depending on what you want, you can choose to have 3 baby back ribs, a hot link, and tri-tip with a side of sweet potato fries for $14.95.

Tri-Tip Salad- Slow smoked tri-tip, sliced thin and served on a bed of mixed field greens, cherry tomatoes, sweet red onions, cucumbers, red and yellow peppers and avocado, tossed in tomato vinaigrette dressing for $12.50.

Ribs and Tri-Tip Lunch Special- Ribs and certified Angus beef tri-tip with a side of honey roasted peanut slaw for $12.95.  The tri-tip was so tender, and the ribs had a good amount of meat and flavor.  This special came with three long pieces of tri-tip.
