Di Pilla’s Italian Restaurant is located at the northeast corner of Rosemead and Valley Blvd. My friend recommended this place for lunch one day, so we went! It’s a medium-sized restaurant with a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Each dish ranges from $10-15.
Each meal is served with a basket of bread. This bread tastes so good, it’s hard to stop eating it.
With each dish, you can choose between a salad or a soup. I ordered the clam chowder. It isn’t your usual New England Style clam chowder, but it tastes just the way it should.
For lunch, I ordered the Spinach Fettuccine Bruno. It’s sauteed ground sausages, fresh zucchini, mushrooms, spinach, garlic, and olive oil served over spinach fettuccine. This dish is very light and not heavily seasoned. It tastes great, and I couldn’t finish all of it. This was probably due to eating a lot of bread and drinking the soup earlier.
Portobello Mushroom Ravioli served in a creamy basil sauce.
