Cafe Orleans is located in New Orleans Square by the Rivers of America. It’s a good place to eat if you want to have a meal that’s casual and moderately priced.
“Crescent City” Salmon Salad- Pan-seared Atlantic salmon on top of fresh spinach and mixed baby greens, tossed with carmelized pecans, red grapes, navel orange segments, caramelized onions, chopped green onions, roasted sweet corn, and orange-cilantro vinaigrette!
Three-Cheese Monte Cristo: Swiss, Mozzarella, and double crème brie fried in a light batter and served with berry purée dusted with powdered sugar!
Chicken Gumbo Crepe- Sautéed chicken, Andouille sausage, Tasso ham, and Creole gumbo sauce, served with new potatoes and sauteed asparagus! I had the chicken gumbo crepe, and it was really good. You can’t see the potatoes, but they were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sausage was quite spicy though. The Minute Maid Light Pomegranate Lemonade is also tasty. I had 3 glasses of it! You can also order mint juleps here. Each of these dishes cost $15.99.
